Looking Back to Move Forward – Entry 4

Old Tim and the Sky Lantern: A Glimpse

It’s March 2016, and that is to say, my short fantasy fiction is now 3 years old!

Old Tim and the Sky Lantern has been first published by Independent Ink Magazine, and has been included in their Spring 2013 (Kindle) Issue along with other 4 chosen stories by different authors: (The Importance of Being Wilde by George Djuric; According to Their Needs by Lisa Metrikin; The Houseguest by Eric Sasson; and The Gift by Robert Thayer).

Among all my short stories, written in my second language (English), this is the only one which is not available to read online. That’s why I’ve posted a copy on Wattpad for anyone who might be interested to read it. Here’s Old Tim and the Sky Lantern!

My Written Pieces and the Legend’s Artworks!

Who would have thought my works would be included in June and July issues of Liwayway Magazine? And that my name would be written in the pages of this longest running literary magazine in the Philippines where the works of the legends — both writers and artists — have appeared!

Not only that Liwayway has given me a chance to showcase my talent, but also, it has given me a wonderful opportunity to associate my written works to a legend artist and an international illustrator, Rico Rival.

June 1, 2015: Nagngangalit na Hangin

July 13, 2015: President and I (Issue Cover: Piolo Pascual and Sarah Geronimo)

Thanks, Liwayway for this experience. And thank God, for the talent.

The Face Behind – Pearl in Peril

cover designed by Searchandrescue

MY ONGOING TAGALOG NOVEL on Wattpad is about to begin its sixth part entitled: THE FACE BEHIND: Pearl in Peril. As the “face” is about to unmask, Pearl Lanora, the main protagonist, is in great peril.

The BIGGEST question is: Who is the FACE BEHIND?
